Research and Development Centre 

The Group’s R&D Centre is committed to cooperating with customers in system design and development, as well as improving integrated benefits and reducing overall development costs.  The Directors believe that close cooperation between the Group’s R&D team and the customers in the course of R&D can promote technology innovation in the development of safety and emergency control systems.  

The Group has a dedicated R&D team to research new solutions for the Group’s customers, as well as the latest technologies in application and their development.  Staff of different departments may also contribute ideas and participate in the Group’s R&D.  The Group has been relying on its engineering and R&D capability to build such systems and/or provide such services, and using the necessary expertise and advanced technology to provide tailor-made total solutions to customers to satisfy their special requirements.  In January and May 2006, Beijing Consen and Beijing Consen Transportation Company were awarded the Certificate of Approval for High and New Technology Enterprise by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission.  At present, the Group’s engineering and R&D departments comprise 118 engineers, technicians and support staff.  They all possess extensive experience and related knowledge in the industry.   

Developing a whole series of safety control systems and mechanical control systems with proprietary right is our strategy for long-term operation and development.  Consen has established good market credibility and customer’s recognition through its high-end products over the years.  Meanwhile, Consen sees that there is still much space in the mid-end and low-end markets for products of the same types as Consen’s.  Currently, the R&D centre has been developing the company’s own control systems through scientific methods.
